Day :
Pick up your motorhome and let the kids explore the International Antarctic Centre with its penguin encounter and storm simulation. The Margaret Mahy Playground is one of NZ's best playgrounds.
Day :
An easy drive through the Canterbury Plains. Kids will love the turquoise lake colour. Visit the Church of the Good Shepherd and if staying overnight, the stargazing is magical for all ages.
Day :
Drive to Mt Cook village. The Tasman Valley walk is flat and suitable for families. Kids love spotting icebergs on Tasman Lake. The Sir Edmund Hillary Alpine Centre has interactive displays.
Day :
A rest day in the fruit bowl of Central Otago. Pick fresh cherries and stone fruit in season. The kids can run around at the playground while parents enjoy a wine tasting at nearby vineyards.

The kids will love the Skyline Gondola and luge rides. Take the TSS Earnslaw steamship to Walter Peak for a farm show. Queenstown Gardens has a great playground and frisbee golf course.
